MP3 Stream Editor Manual

Thanks for trying out MP3 Stream Editor.
This is the online help page, below you'll find help on usage and quick tutorials.

MP3 Stream Editor is an all in one tool for audio files with the ability to edit MP3 and various file formats without decoding. The advantage is that there is no degradation of quality as the MP3 and supported formats are not re-encoded.
Additionally all the supported audio file formats can be edited, though they are decoded before to WAV for the edit commands.

MP3 Stream Editor is shareware, you can give copies of MP3 Stream Editor to anyone you think might find it useful. You can upload it to Web, BBS or ftp sites and post it to appropriate forums or newsgroups, magazine and book publishers can include the unmodified MP3 Stream Editor package on cover and companion CD-ROMs. If you have any questions, please contact: 3delite@3delite.hu.

The user interface might seem confusing for the first glance, but for a rule of thumb: if you don't know what that is, don't touch it (read the help first) all options are set to best default to the normal usage.
As a basic help you can always hover with the mouse over an item and see the quick help in the lower left corner of the main window.

DirectX 9 :: Features :: File formats :: Top
Requirements

  • 3D GraphicsCard (suggested with HardwareVertexProcessing) and DirectX 9 installed
  • BASS requires DirectX 3 or above. BASS does not require that a soundcard with DirectSound/DirectSound3D hardware accelerated drivers is installed, but it does improve performance if there is one. BASS also takes advantage of MMX, which improves the performance of the MOD music playback.
  • The Windows Media Format modules are also required to be installed on the user's system. They are installed with Windows Media Player, so will already be on most users' systems, but they can also be installed separately (WMFDIST.EXE). For full support of WMA files (Windows Media Audio) you should also install the latest Windows Media Player (lots of dependencies there at MS).
  • Minimal screen resolution of 1024x768
