This is where you can edit MP3 Streams with the mouse on a 3D sample display swiftly like a dream.
WAV and MPEG files are supported, MPEG files are edited without decoding, this means there is no degradation of quality and it's also very fast, as there is no need to decode and re-encode the files. You can cut Ogg Vorbis files also but only Copy selection to a new file. Details about supported formats here.
Select start position with left mouse button, end position with right mouse button or Roll the mousewheel to zoom in and out. You can play the stream from the position where you click with the middle mouse button.

Tag Editor
You can easely edit Tags in your MP3 files with the Tag editor. The Tag editor will appear if you click the ID3 Tags button from sample window.
The Tag editor can read/edit ID3v1.0/1.1 and almost all ID3v2 formats.
ID3v1
If the loaded file has an ID3v1 Tag, the ID3v1 checkbox will be checked. And you'll be able to edit the Tag's frames (frames are entries in the Tag like album, artist,
year, comment, etc.). If you want to save the changes you made, press the Save button. (If you uncheck the ID3v1 checkbox and then click Save the ID3v1 Tag
will be removed from the file.) With the Export button, you can save the whole Tag into a stand-alone file for further processing.
The Copy and Paste buttons does the same thing as the copy paste functions in other programs. For example, you can copy the ID3v1 Tag contents
into ID3v2 and vice versa. Of course, there is a limitation, because more frames can be found in ID3v2 Tags than in an ID3v1. So, if you copy ID3v1 Tag
into ID3v2 Tag then only the Title, Artist, Album, Year, Genre and Comment frames will be copied.
ID3v2
If the loaded file has an ID3v2 Tag, the ID3v2 checkbox will be checked. Every function is the same as reviewed in the ID3v1 section.
Exceptions:
In ID3 Tag version 2 you can add pictures to your MP3. MP3 Stream Editor's Tag editor supports only one JPEG picture at the moment in ID3v2 Tags.
But certainly, you can also add a picture caption.(In ID3v2 Tags picture caption can be 255 character long.)
If you copy ID3v2 Tag into ID3v1 Tag, the Composer, Original Artist, Copyright, and URL frames will not be copied because of the limitation of ID3v1 Tags.
And also ID3v2 frames will be shortened if they are more then 255 characters long.
The picture popup menu
ID3v2 Tag supports pictures. If there is a picture in the loaded ID3v2 Tag and it is a JPEG picture, it will be displayed in the top right corner of
the Tag editor window. With a right click you can reach the picture popup menu.
The full picture popup menu is only available, if jpeg picture is found in the ID3v2 Tag. Else you only have the capability to add a picture.
The menu commands are:
View: view the picture with MP3 Stream Editor's internal viewer
Open in External: You can view the picture with an external viewer (Only if it has been specified in the Settings menu!)
View/Edit Caption: You can edit the picture caption or create a new one
Add/Replace Picture: You can add a new picture or change the actual one
Save Image: Save the image as a stand-alone JPEG file
Remove Picture: Remove the picture from Tag completly
If you want to...
...create a new ID3v1 or ID3v2 Tag: then you only have to check one of the ID3v1 or ID3v2 checkboxes, edit the Tag, and then press Save
...delete existing ID3v1 or ID3v2 Tag: then you only have to uncheck one of the ID3v1 or ID3v2 checkboxes, and then press Save
...insert a new picture into ID3v2 Tag: then you only have to call Add/Replace Picture from the picture menu

Other v2 Tags
This is for advanced users! Unskilled users can damage their MP3's Tag!
In the combobox you can see a list of all frames that MP3 Stream Editor's Tag reader found in the ID3v2 Tag. If you select one of them, then you can enter into the Frame Data Window environment.
Here you can edit, delete, compress, save and of course view the Tag's frames.
In the lister you can see the selected frame's content. Below you can see a checkbox called Edit frame as text.
If you check this, then you will be able to edit the selected frame. (WARNING! This can be dangerous, because you can damage your frames!
Corrupt frames - especially APIC (picture) frames - usually unreadable by most Tag handler applications!) If you click Set the modified frame will be saved.
The Info panel tells you some information about the frame. Also you can find here the Frame ID listbox, where you can select other frames to view or edit.
The Remove button removes the actual frame IMMEDIATELY!
With the Compress button you can compress the actual frame, with the given ratio (Fast, Normal, Maximum).
In the Save Frame group you can save the actual frame's contents to a stand-alone file. If the Start position is set to 0, and the End position
is set to the default value, then all the frame's contents will be saved .If you wish to save only a given part of the frame, then you can select
the start position and end position with the above mentioned Start position and End position counters.
Note: Start position can be set with the mouse as well.
You can go back to the Tag editor panel by pressing the Tags button.
